This long playing piece was made by hand on a vintage cassette 4 track and features an audio recording of my grandfather brokering some deal with a radio company in the 1980’s. He was a radio engineer in the Korean war who later got into the pager game in our home town before cell phones were a thing. I also used a no-input mixer as a synthesizer, sound collaged some guitar stuff, and arranged various samples. I released my favorite 4 minute segment of it on Spotify, but the full tape can be found on my Bandcamp:

Rocking Around the Sun is an illustrated children's book about the planets of our solar system, teaching children simple astrology while also instilling a moral obligation of cultural acceptance. It's a small batch self-publication by Tyson Swindell (author) and Ami Plasse (illustrator).
